It’s definitely possible that I watched the entire first season of Hell on Wheels last weekend, because I am currently obsessed with the era, and I've been yearning for something to fill the Deadwood-sized hole in my heart for a while now. Alas, it only built a tiny foot bridge, too rickety & slipshod to get from one end to the other; but it’s something, I suppose.
This post is dedicated to the lovely post-Civil War fashions of Ms. Lily Bell, the coolest chick west of the Mississippi!
I've never heard of this before, but seems really interesting. :) I love watching TV-shows / miniseries and movies of completely different era that we live in.. And dream of being born then, sometimes. :)
Have a lovely weekend ! Oh, how was your roadtrip or is it even over yet, or .. Heh I'm so confused <3
Ha, I am back now, I've just quite busy doing all the writing I need to get done for it. Once I'm finished with that, I'll put together a few posts to share here! x
Ohh I can really see myself getting stuck into this series! Although, I didn't love Deadwood, I found it to be too nitty gritty and couldn't get past the first half of season one, but this looks a bit different. Hopefully this will fill my tv void...I need a good historical series to watch until all of the others come back on :D
Ah, to be able to wear skirts like that in modern society without getting stuck in small spaces!
